...in order to compensate for the continued loss of habitat we need to plant LOTS AND LOTS of milkweed. To assure a future for monarchs, conservation and restoration of milkweeds needs to become a national priority.

I am letting some grow in my front yard. Last year it was 1 plant, this year it's 5.
Nicely done, Mike. You're way ahead of me.
Milkweed's intoxicating scent makes it a beneficial plant in other ways too.
