I don't see mine that way, but can understand why some people do. I'm partial to dogs. That said, they're very curious animals.

I am totally getting chickens when I retire... for now I don't have the time (and yes I know they don't require much)and yeas they will probably be more pets than livestock!
Are you asking me to make a choice between Carl and the fresh eggs?
